  • Reading: My motivation has failed me

I'm a little blue right now. Just real tired of being overlooked. Thats what I get for hanging around the people I do though. It doesn't matter. Its real hard on me to be the last considered, but maintaining the peace is more important. It just hurts.

Eery time I say something about it though, certain people get offended. And I am so tired of just being "friend material." It makes me frickin loathe myself.

I don't expect this journal to make sense. I'm entitled to my depressed moment, or moments here.

In Africa there is a community whose traditional greeting is the equivalent of saying "I see you" not "hi" or "hello". The traditional response to this greeting is to say "Then I exist", as if a person's knowing they are real depends on others in the community acknowledging them and making them real by communicating with them.
